HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-175 CCRC Member Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83 -175 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT FOR THE PUBLIC UTILITIES DIVISION WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the purchase of certain data processing equipment for the use of the Public Utilities Division, and that it be paid for by the Public Utilities Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that the need for such equipment does exist. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase the following data processing equipment through the Local Government Information Systems Association (LOGIS), a joint powers local government consortium: 1 (A) CRT Terminal, Printer, Cable and Buffer 2,405.00 (B) Micro Processor, Dual -Disc Drive, and Printer 5,824.00 (C) Software for Micro- Processor 799.00 (D) Total 9,028.00 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase said equipment from funds to be provided by the Public Utilities Fund. November 7, 1983 Date Mayor ATTEST: lerk The motion for"the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
