HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-186 CCRMember Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83 -186 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1983 GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, the Director of Parks Recreation has advised the City Manager that the popcorn machine in the Community Center is no longer functioning and needs to be replaced; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of replacement is $900; and 0 WHEREAS, Section 7.08 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide that the City Council may, by majority vote of its members, transfer unencumbered appropriation balances from one office, department, or agency to another within the same fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend the 1983 General Fund Budget by transferring $900 from the Community Center Account Object No. 4382 (Equipment Repair) to Object No. 4552 (Other Equipment) for the purchase of a popcorn machine for the Community Center. December 5, 1983 Date ATTEST: r Mayor r The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
