HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-069 CCR1 1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83 -69 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 21, 1983 at 2:00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Barton Sand and Gravel Company for the furnishing of FA -1 sand (picked up), and buckshot (picked up) in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Barton Sand and Gravel Company for FA -2 rock (delivered) in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby acc pted. April 25, 1983 Date- Mayor ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
