HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-077 CCR0 Member Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83 -77 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PLANT -MIXED BITUMINOUS MIXTURES WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 21, 1983 at 2:00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous mixtures and said bids were as follows: Bid by Commercial Asphalt Company for Fine Aggregate Mixture is for mixture with =z inch sized maximum aggregate in lieu of 3/8 inch maximum specified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Bury and Carlson, Inc. for furnishing all plant -mixed bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 25, 1983 Date M or ATTEST: Clerk l The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was decleared duly passed and adopted.
