HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-017 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 83 -17 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF EMBER REICHGOTT WHEREAS, Ms. Ember Reichgott served as a member of the Brooklyn Center Human Rights Commission from March 1979 through September 1982; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that her service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Ms. Ember Reichgott, as a member of the Human Rights Commission, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 24, 1983 Date Mayor ATTEST: The motion for tVe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same.: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
