HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-237 CCRMember Rich Theis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -237 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A HEATED BITUMINOUS HOPPER WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center has appropriated $5,200 for the purchase of a heated bituminous hopper in the street construction and maintenance budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has received a quotation for the purchase of a heated bituminous hopper from Minnesota Correction Industries of Stillwater, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the quotation submitted by Minnesota Correctional Industries was $5,200; and WHEREAS, quotation received from McQueen Equipment, Incorporated of St. Paul, Minnesota was $9,850. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed enter into an agreement for the purchase of above described equipment with Minnesota Correctional Industries in the amount of $5,200. 11 1 v Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis.
