HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-053 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -53 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A SOUND LEVEL METER CUSTODY AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has participated for one year in the Minnesota Cities Motor Vehicle Noise Enforcement and Meter Loan Program which included a contract for a motor vehicle noise enforcement kit; and WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities has invited the City of Brooklyn Center to participate in the program for a second year; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Cities Motor Vehicle Noise Enforcement and Meter Loan Program will enable the Brooklyn Center Police Department to continue a program of motor vehicle noise level enforcement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a Sound Level Meter Custody Agreement with the League of Minnesota Cities.
