RESOLUTION NO. 82 -68
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS MATERIALS
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported
that on April 22, 1982, at 11:00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received
for the furnishing of bituminous materials and said bids were as follows:

Ashland Petroleum
CRS -1 or CRS -2
delivered

.4940 /gallon
.5900 /gallon
CRS -1 or CRS -2
picked up

No bid
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Richards Asphalt Company for furnishing
CRS -1 and CRS -2 (delivered and picked up) bituminous materials in accordance
with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible
bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott,
Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
