HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-068 CCRMember Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -68 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS MATERIALS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 22, 1982, at 11:00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous materials and said bids were as follows: Bidder Koch Asphalt Richards Asphalt Ashland Petroleum CRS -1 or CRS -2 delivered .5170 /gallon .4940 /gallon .5900 /gallon CRS -1 or CRS -2 picked up .5000 /gallon .4750 /gallong No bid NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Richards Asphalt Company for furnishing CRS -1 and CRS -2 (delivered and picked up) bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 26 Date ATTEST: A 0 Cler?k May The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
