HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-075 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -75 RESOLUTION DECLARING JUNE 4 THROUGH 13 AS BROOKLYN CENTER EARLY BIRD DAYS WHEREAS, the purpose of the City of Brooklyn Center Early Bird Days is to promote the City of Brooklyn Center, its people and amenities; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Park and Recreation Department, the Chamber of Commerce and other community groups participate in the annual civic celebration to demonstrate the vitality of the City of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to declare June 4 through June 13, 1982 as the dates for Brooklyn Center Early Bird Days. May 10, 1982 f Date Mayor r00,00 The motion for tTie adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 1
