moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82 -155
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY
OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO BE USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
WHEREAS, there is situated within the boundaries of the City of Brooklyn
Center and the County of Hennepin certain tax forfeited land; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center desires to obtain the said land for
park purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center that the City Manager be instructed to make application for conveyance of tax
forfeited lands as herein described and further, that the Mayor and City Manager be
authorized to sign such application for conveyance. The land is described as follows:
Lot 9, Block 0 Auditor's Subdivision No. 025 Hennepin County, Minnesota.

That part of Lot 9 lying south and east of Northgate and west of
Fairmeadows excluding road. (P.I.D. #34- 119 -21 -31 -0003)

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill
