moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 82 -210
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO PALMER LAKE
BASIN SITE IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT 1982 -M
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
entered into Contract 1982 -M with Park Construction Company, for the construction
of Palmer Lake Basin Site Improvement Project No. 1982 -25; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interests of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to delete the construction of the woodchip
trail along the southeasterly perimeter of Palmer Lake Basin from said Improvement
Project No. 1982 -25, resulting in a reduction of $1,165.50 in the Contract cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the above modification to Improvement Project
No. 1982 -25 is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized
and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 to Contract 1982 -M which provides
for a $1,165.50 reduction in the Contract cost.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, Gene Lhotka,
and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
