TIME PLACE: The Brooklyn Center Charter Commission met at the Village
Hall on Osseo Road at 8 :00 P. M. on September 22, 1964.
THOSE PRESENT: William Arrell, Joseph Barnes, Marie Erickson, Quentin
Gustafson, Robert Johnson, Robert Puncochar, Ward Vlhalen,
Virginia Tesch, Phyllis Zeller.
THOSE ABSENT: Arthur Callahan, Donn Escher, Marshall Jacobson,, Raymond
Matthys, Charles Nichols, Barbara Swart.
The meeting was called to order by William Arrell, Chairman, at 8 :07 P. 1,6.
with nine members present.
Marie Erickson moved, Bob Johnson seconded, that the minutes of the August
25th meeting be approved. Motion carried unanimously.
Letters from several Brooklyn Center residents were read by the Chairman
and to be taken under advisement. Mr. Mfrs. Donald S. Enderson

The report of the Executive Committee meeting of September 21, 1964
was read. Marie Erickson moved, Phyllis Zeller seconded that we approve
the report. Motion carried unanimously.
Most of the meeting time was used for a discussion -of the "Government Study
Committee Report" and Chapter 6 of the Village Administrative Code
Ward Whalen moved, i marie Erickson seconded, that we extend an invitation
to the Mayor, Village Council, and the Village Administrator to be present
at the next Charter Commission meeting, October 13, 1964. Motion
carried unanimously.
'Aiard Whalen moved, Joseph Barnes seconded that we continue our discussion
of the above topics if the Mayor, Council, and Administrator cannot appear.
Motion passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 14 :31
