HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-020 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -20 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. JAMES BOOK WHEREAS, Mr. James Book served as a member of the Planning Com- mission from July, 1977 through December, 1978; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. James Book as a member of the Planning Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 8, 1979 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
