HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-021 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -21 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECI- ATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. DEBORAH JACOBSON WHEREAS, Mrs. Deborah Jacobson served as a member of the Planning Commission from January, 1975 through December, 1978; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. Deborah Jacobson as a member of the Planning Commission and citizen, is recog- nized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 8, 1979 �y Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
