HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-022 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -22 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECI- ATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. GILBERT ENGDAHL WHEREAS, Mr. Gilbert Engdahl served as a member of the Planning Commission from February, 1972 through December, 1977 and as that body's Chairman from January, 1978 through December, 1978; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission and the leadership he provided contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Gilbert Engdahl as a member and Chairman of the Planning Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. y January 8, 1979 Date Mayor ATTEST: v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
