HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-025 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -25 RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS TO FURNISH AND INSTALL A TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AT THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER CITY HALL BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1 The specifications for furnishing and installing a telephone communications system is hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five per cent (5%) of the bids. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, February 1 1979 at 11:00 a.m. central standard time. 4. The City Manager shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. fi f J J r January 8, 1979 Ar Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
