HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-043 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -43 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. MONA HINTZMAN WHEREAS, Mrs. Mona Hintzman served as a member of the Charter Commission from February, 1971 through January, 1979; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. Mona Hintzman as a member of the Charter Commission and citizen, is recog- nized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. February 12, 1979_ Date Mayor ATTEST: Deputy �lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
