HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-073 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -73 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS FIRE EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, material or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of miscellaneous fire equipment and has determined that the quotation of Mid Central Fire Safety in the amount of $6,998.80 is the best quotations submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of miscellaneous fire equipment in the amount of $6,998.80 from Mid Central Fire Safety.
