HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-074 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -74 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS FIRE EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of miscellaneous fire equipment and has determined that the quotation of Minnesota Fire, Inc. in the amount of $1,078.01 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of miscellaneous fire equipment in the amount of $1,078.01 from Minnesota Fire, Inc. March 12, 1979 Date Mayo�� ATTEST: CT Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
