HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-081 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -81 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WELL MAINTENANCE PROJECT NO. 1979 -4 AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (UTILITY CONTRACT NO 1979 -C) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the following improvement prepared by the City Engineer are hereby approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk: Well Maintenance Project No. 1979 -4 2. The City Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication at least once in the official newspaper and the Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five percent (5 of the bids. 3. Bid date is set for Wednesday, April 18, 1979, at 11:00 a.m., central standard time. 4. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. March 26,1979 Date M G ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
