HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-087 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -87 RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF SHINGLE CREEK PARKWAY OVER FI 94 STATE PROJECT 2786 68(94 =393). WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has prepared plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 393, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 94, within the corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center, located on Shingle Creek Parkway from the Brooklyn Center City Hall to 55th Avenue North; and seeks the approval thereof: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are approved including the elevations and grades as shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby agree to require the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said trunk highway.
