HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-228 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -228 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 14, 000 SQUARE FEET OF 1-1/2" FR STYROFOAM DELIVERED WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of 14,000 square feet 1-1/2" FR Styrofoam and has determined that the quotation of Insulation Sales Company in the amount of 39� /square foot ($5,460.00) for 14,000 square feet of 1 -1/2" FR styrofoam is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of 14,000 square feet of 1 -1/2" FR styrofoam in the amount of $5,460.00 from Insulation Sales Company.
