HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-255 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO 78 255 RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS REGARDING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF 53RD AVENUE NORTH BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1) That the City of Brooklyn Center enter into Amendment No. 1 of agreement with the City of Minneapolis for the following purposes, towit: The City of Brooklyn Center agrees to provide certain preliminary engineering services for the reconstruction of Penn Avenue North from 53rd Avenue North to the bridge near 52nd Avenue North, and the City of Minneapolis agrees to reimburse the City of Brooklyn Center for the actual cost of the said engineering services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement, and 2) That the Mayor and City Manager be and hereby are authorized to execute such Amendment No. 1 to agreement and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. November 13, 1978 �G Date r r ATTEST: lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
