HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-294 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -294 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN (7) PRESSURE DEMAND SELF CONTAINED AIR BREATHING APPARATUS WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, 'the City Manager has obtained quotations on 'the purchase of seven pressure demand self contained air breathing units and has determined that the quotation of Elvin Safety Supply in the amount of $573 each totaling $4,011 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of seven pressure demand self contained air breathing units in the amount of $4,011 from Elvin Safety Supply. December 18, 1978 Date Mayor ATTEST:��, Cl9rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor 'thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
