HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-154 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-154 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. GARY LIVINGSTON WHEREAS, Mr. Gary Livingston served as a member of the Conservation Commission from November, 1974 through July, 1978; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and develop- ment of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Gary Livingston as a member of the Conservation Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. July 24, 1978 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken'Ahereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott;, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
