HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-052 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-52 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 7,000 GALLONS OF FUEL OIL WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, 'the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of fuel oil and has determined that 'the quotation of Union Oil Company in the amount of $2,709 (38.7 /gal.) for 7,000 gallons of fuel oil is 'the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center 'that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase Y Y g P I of 7,000 gallons of fuel oil in the amount f $2,709 from Union Oil. March 2 0, 1978 Date Mayor ATTEST: lei The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
