HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-067 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -67 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF CHIEF THOMAS G. O'HEHIR WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas G. O'Hehir served as Chief of Police from March 12, 1962 through May 20, 1978; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities associated with this position contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Thomas G. O'Hehir as Chief of Police and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.
