HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-071 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -71 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FURNISHING BITUMINOUS OIL WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and the City Clerk have reported that on April 18, 1978, at 11:15 a.m., they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous oil and that said bids were as follows: MC -800 RC -800 RC -800 CRS1 /CRS2 CRS1 /CRS2 Bidder P.U. Del, P.U. Del. P.U. Ashland Petroleum $.3500 $.3833 $.3700 NB NB Koch .3500 .3843 .3700 .3643 .3500 L. N. Sickels .3500 .3843 .3700 ,3620 .3500 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that the bid of L. N. Sickels for furnishing all bituminous oils in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voters against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
