HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-084 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -84 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TEN USED VOTING MACHINES WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of voting machines and has determined that the quotation of Computer Election Systems in the amount of $4, 000 for ten (10) automatic voting machines, Serial #85364 85373 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of ten (10) voting machines in the amount of $4,000 from Computer Election Systems.
