HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-018 CCR Member Cecilia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -18 RESOLUTION CONVEYING APPLICATION FOR METROPOLITAN LAND PLANNING ASSISTANCE GRANT WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has adopted guidelines for the application, award, and disbursement of funds to local government to assist in the comprehensive planning activities mandated by the 1976 Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, pursuant to those guidelines, the City has prepared a proposed work program, estimated costs and information in support of the application for its grant entitlement and for special planning problems funds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to convey herewith to the Metropolitan Council the Community Grant Application for the City's planning assistance entitlement of $7,895 and for available special planning problems funds in the amount of $3,000. January 9, 1978 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, 'the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka and Cecilia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
