HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-022 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 -22 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND M APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. CELIA SCOTT WHEREAS, Mrs. Celia Scott served as a member of the Planning Commission from January, 1971 through December, 1977 and as that body's Chairman during 1977; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission and the leadership she provided contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. Celia Scott as a member and Chairman of the Planning Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 23, 1978 Date ATTEST Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
