HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-228 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -228 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATION FOR HANDICAP DOWN RAMP FOR LEAP BUILDING WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construc- tion work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the construc- tion of a handicap down ramp and has determined that the quotation of Magney Construction Company in the amount of $2 9 UO for the construction of a handicap down ramp for the CEAP Building is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the construction of a handicap down ramp in the amount of $2,900 from the Magney Construction Company. November 14, 1977 Date Mayor f e ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
