HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-238 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -238 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. LOU HOWARD WHEREAS, Mr. Lou Howard served as a Charter member of the Housing Commission and as that body's Chairman from October, 1973 through November, 1977; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission, and the leadership he provided, contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. Lou Howard as a member of the Housing Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.
