HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-251 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -251 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE BACKHOE ATTACHMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations for the purchase of one (1) Backhoe Attachment and has determined that the quotation of Midway Tractor and Equipment Company in an amount of $5,950.00 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of one (1) Backhoe Attachment in an amount not to exceed $5,950.00 from Midway Tractor and Equipment Company. December 19, 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk J The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
