HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-257 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -257 RESOLUTION AWARDING INSURANCE CONTRACTS WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has prepared specifications and sought proposals for certain City insurance coverages; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and the City Clerk have reported that said proposals were received until, and opened at, 11:00 a.m. December 7, 1977; and WHEREAS, only one proposal was received and that proposal was submitted by the Associated General Agency for the Home Insurance Company; and WHEREAS, said proposal was evaluated by the Director of Finance; and WHEREAS, he has recommended the acceptance of the proposal, except that the umbrella liability insurance coverage be deleted: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to accept the proposal and award an insurance contract as follows to the Associated General Agency and The Home Insurance Company for the period commencing January 1 1978 for one year: 1 Packaae Insurance (Public and Automobile Liability; Property; Steam Boiler and Breakdown; Vehicle Collision and Comprehensive; Fidelity, Faithful Performance and Forgery; Money and Securities Destruction and Disappearance; Business Interuption) Estimated Annual Premium: $89,231 2. Dram Shop (Liquor) Liabilitv Insurance Estimated Annual Premium: $10,165 December 19, 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
