HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-116 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -116 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. TAMES LACINA WHEREAS, Mr. James Lacina served as a member of the Human Rights Commission from December, 1976 through June, 1977; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mr. James Lacina as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. June 20, 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
