HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-120 CCR i Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -120 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 12" SPARLING MAINLINE WATER METER WHEREAS, Chapter 471 .345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than five thousand dollars ($5,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of one 12" Sparling mainline water meter and has determined that the quotation of Power Process Incorporated in the amount of $I 057.50 for one 12" Sparling mainline water meter f.o.b. factory is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of one 12" Sparling mainline water meter in the amount of $1,057.50 f.o.b. factory from Power Process, Incorporated. Time 20 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fgnar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
