HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-143 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -143 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO BE USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES WHEREAS, there is situated within the boundaries of the City of Brooklyn Center, County of Hennepin, certain tax forfeited land; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center desires to obtain the said land for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be instructed to make application for conveyance of tax forfeited lands as herein described and further that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to sign such application for conveyance. The land is described as follows: Plat 89104, Parcel 5196 The East 30 feet of the North 90 feet of the West 1/2 of Lot 46, Auditor's Subdivision No. 309, except road. Plat 89282, Parcel 4500 Lot 9, Block 1, Burch and Wise Park Addition lt4L, July 18, 1977, Date Mayor ATTEST:- ✓��,aG. Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
