HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-176 CCR I Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -176 RESOLUTION REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY PARTICIPATION IN SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1977 -12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center deemed it necessary to construct Sidewalk Pedestrian- Bicycle Ramps and established Sidewalk Improvement Project No. 1977 -12; and WHEREAS, Hennepin County has adopted a policy of participating in the cost of sidewalk improvements along county roads; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to request Hennepin County participation in the cost of the proposed improvement, adjacent to county roads, hereinafter described. Sidewalk Improvement Project No. 1977 -12 (Pedestrian Bicycle Ramps) At street intersections along County Road 10 from T. H. 152 to T.H. 100; County Road 57 from T.H. 100 to Logan Avenue North; Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 10 to Summit Drive North; and Freeway Boulevard from James Avenue to Shingle Creek Parkway. September 19, 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: +j Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Bill Fignar, and :Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
