HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-017 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 77 -17 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE POCKET TYPE RADIO PAGERS WITH AMPLIFIER WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quo'ta'tions when the amount of such contract is less than five thousand dollars ($5,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of pocket type radio pagers with amplifiers and has determined that the quotation of Motorola Corporation in the amount of $1,595 for five pocket type radio pagers with amplifier is the best quo'ta'tion submi't'ted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of 'the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of five pocket type radio pagers with amplifier in 'the amount of $1,595 from Motorola Corporation.
