HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-036 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 77 -36 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TEN POCKET TYPE RADIO PAGERS WITH AMPLIFIER WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than five thousand dollars ($5,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of pocket type radio pagers with amplifiers and has determined that the quotation of Motorola Corporation in the amount of $3,190 for ten pocket type radio pagers with amplifier is the best quotation submi't'ted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of ten pocket type radio pagers with amplifier in the amount of $3,190 from Motorola Corporation.
