HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-043 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -43 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATION PUBLIC SERVICE OF MS. KATHLEEN MILLER WHEREAS, Ms. Kathleen Miller served as a member of the Human Rights Commission from June, 1975 through January, 1977; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Ms. Kathleen Miller as a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. March 14. 1977 Date} Mayor 9 ATTEST: C lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
