HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-060 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -60 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MRS. TAN THUNELL WHEREAS, Mrs. Jan Thunell served as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission Park Service Area III Committee; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of this Committee contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of Mrs. Jan Thunell as a member of the Park and Recreation Commission Park Service Area III Committee and citizen is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. April 11, 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: d le rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
