HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-094 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -94 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE LINE MARKING MACHINE WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than five thousand dollars ($5,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of line marking machines and has determined that the quotation of Ruffridge- Johnson Equipment Company, Inc. in the amount of $2,548 is the best quotation submitted: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of one line marking machine in the amount of $2,548 from Ruff fridge- Johnson Company, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mav 9. 1977 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor therefor: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
