HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-109 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77 -109 RESOLUTION TRANSMITTING APPLICATION FOR STATE CRITICAL AREAS PLANNING GRANT WHEREAS, State Executive Order No. 130, effective November 23, 1976, establishes and defines a Mississippi River Corridor within the metropolitan area, including Brooklyn Center, and designates said corridor as a Critical Area pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116 G; and WHEREAS, said Order requires preparation of certain plans and regulations consistent with State standards and guidelines; and WHEREAS, funds have been established to provide grants to support local efforts in achieving said plans and regulations: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to transmit to the State Planning Agency an Application for a Critical Areas Grant together with th d wor program M 9�1 197 Date Mayor ATTEST :r;J,, C lec The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen; Maurice Britts and Gene Lhotka and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
