adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77 -115
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATICN
FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. ROBERT TENSEN
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert Jensen served as a member of the Brooklyn Center
City Council from January 7, 1974 through January 3, 1977; and
WHEREAS, he served as a member of the Brooklyn Center Planning
Commission from January 25, 1962 through January 3, 1974, and as that
Commission's Chairman from October 7, 1967 through January 3, 1974; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of City Council
and the Planning Commission, particularly with regard to his efforts involving the
development of the City's Comprehensive Plan, contributed substantially to the
sound progress and development of the City; and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the
community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that:
The dedicated public service of Mr. Robert Jensen as a member
of the City Council and Planning Commission and citizen is
recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and
Gene Lhotka; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
