HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-127 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -127 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR NOISE ABATEMENT STRUCTURES ALONG F. I. 94 FROM THE WEST CORPORATE LIMITS TO XERXES AVENUE NORTH IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 393 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 94 within the corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center from the west city limits to Xerxes Avenue; and WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, St. Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as S.P. 2786 -57 (I -94) From West City Limits to Xerxes Avenue Preliminary Plans for Noise Abatement Barriers to be Constructed of Masonry Block and Earthen Mounds; and WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described. NOW, THEN BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 393 renumbered Trunk Highway Number 94 within the limits of the City of Brooklyn Center be and hereby are approved with the option of Earthen Mounds for the area south of F. 1. 94 from Noble Avenue to approximately 1 600 feet easterly of Noble Avenue, said option to be confirmed on October 4, 1976. September 2 1 p 0, 976 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
