HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-170 CCR Member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -170 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) POLICE PATROL SEDANS i WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, October 19, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. bids were received for the furnishing of five (5) police patrol sedans. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Suburban Chevrolet for four (4) compact Chevrolet Nova police patrol sedans in the amount of $18,392.88 ($4,598.22 each) and that the bid of Central Chrysler Plymouth for one (1) 1977 intermediate Plymouth Fury police patrol sedan in the amount of $4,533.25 in accordance with the specifications are deemed to be the best bids submitted by a responsible bidder and said bids are hereby accepted. December 6. 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, and Bill Fignar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
