RESOLUTION NO. 76 -81 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF THE BROOKLYN CENTER TAYCEES WHEREAS, 'the Brooklyn Center Jaycees have periodically Y J Y p Y conducted community -wide surveys intended to measure the attitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center relative to matters of community concern; and WHEREAS, the Jaycees, under the direction of Mr. Marvin Hutchins, conducted such a survey during the spring of 1976 that included various questions that were of significant importance to the City of Brooklyn Center, and WHEREAS, the results of this survey were presented to the City Council on June 14, 1976; and WHEREAS, the public service and civic effort displayed by the Jaycees merits the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that: The dedicated public service of the Brooklyn Center Jaycees for their efforts in conducting the Community Attitude Survey is recognized and appreciate ity Brooklyn Cepter. Tune 28, 1976 Date r Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
