HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-085 CCR Member Maurice Britts introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76 -85 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF BUDGETED MOBILE RADIOS THROUGH COOPERATIVE PURCHASING WITH THE CITY OF MOUND WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in joint purchasing; and WHEREAS, the City of Mound on Monday, March 8, 1976, at 2:00 p.m. received bids for the furnishing of base station and mobile radio system; and WHEREAS, the Mound City Council awarded bids to the low bidder, Air Comm Company, 76 Moreland Avenue East, St. Paul, Minnesota with the advice of the Director of the Hennepin County Department of Communications; and WHEREAS, the City of Mound's specifications authorized purchase of mobile radios at the bid price by other governmental jurisdictions: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to authorize the purchase of five budgeted mobile radios from Air Comm Company, pursuant to contract with the City of Mound in the amount of $619.10 per radio unit installed, a al of $33 095.50. June 28, 1976 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Maurice Britts Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Robert Jensen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i
